All providers must upload valid licenses and pass a background check before being approved. We also encourage both clients and providers to leave honest reviews to build trust within the community. Payments and personal information are protected through secure systems and privacy-compliant policies.

Booking through Vishmo protects both parties. It ensures payment security, dispute resolution, verified service quality, cancellation protection, and access to platform support. Booking off-platform forfeits all protections and violates our terms of use. Providers who repeatedly solicit off-platform transactions may be suspended.

Yes. Every provider on Vishmo is a licensed professional and has completed a background check before being approved to offer services. We prioritize your safety and quality experience.

No. Providers are independent contractors. Vishmo handles the booking and payment process, but services are delivered by the provider you choose.

Yes, you can browse profiles, read reviews, and book directly with your preferred provider.

No. Your provider will bring all required tools, equipment, and professional products for the service. Just provide a safe, clean space.

Yes, tipping is optional and can be done through the platform during or after your appointment.

Pricing & Payments

Providers set their own prices. Vishmo ensures transparent, secure transactions.

You pay securely through Vishmo using a credit or debit card at the time of booking.

Cancellations & No-Shows

Cancel more than 12 hours in advance to avoid fees. Cancellations within 12 hours are charged 50%, and no-shows or late arrivals may be charged 100%.

Yes, as long as you do it more than 12 hours before the scheduled time.

Privacy & Safety

Yes. We use encrypted payment systems, secure data handling, and comply with privacy regulations to protect your information.

Please inform your provider before the service to ensure proper care and safety.

Legal & Support

The provider is responsible for delivering the service. Vishmo acts as a facilitator but is not involved in service performance.

You can leave a review and report concerns via your dashboard. We'll do our best to help mediate or assist with finding a new provider.

Why Book Through Vishmo

Booking through Vishmo ensures that you're protected by our cancellation policy, secure payments, verified provider credentials, and customer support. When you book outside the platform, you lose all these protections and may be at risk for poor service, payment fraud, or unverified providers.

For Service Providers

Getting Started

Yes, there is a one-time $49 onboarding fee, which covers a background check, license verification, account setup, onboarding support, and access to training resources. There are no recurring charges unless you choose a premium plan.

Licensing, Insurance, and Legal Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring all required licenses, permits, and legal approvals are obtained, including a valid professional license, an establishment license (if offering services from home), and a PSP (Personal Service Permit) if applicable.

Yes, many cities/counties require a PSP for mobile/in-home services like hair, nails, or skincare. Check with your local health or cosmetology board.

Only if your local laws permit it and you hold the necessary establishment license and zoning approvals.

It is strongly recommended. Some states mandate it for specific services like massage therapy. Insurance protects both you and your clients.

No. Vishmo does not provide liability coverage. You operate as an independent contractor and must obtain your own insurance.

All providers must pass an FCRA-compliant background check, which includes identity verification, national criminal database search, and sex offender registry check. The $49 onboarding fee includes this.

You are. Vishmo connects clients and providers but does not monitor or guarantee legal compliance. You must operate within all applicable laws.

Yes. Failure to comply with legal, licensing, or insurance requirements may result in immediate suspension or removal.

No. You must upload documents under your own name. Submitting false information will result in suspension and may be reported to authorities.

Scheduling and Service Areas

Yes. You control your availability, blackout dates, and working hours through your dashboard.

You define your service radius when setting up your profile and only receive requests within that area.

Yes. You may decline any booking that doesn’t suit your schedule or comfort level.

Payments and Fees

Payments are securely deposited to your linked bank account within 2–3 business days after a completed appointment.

Yes. You can choose between a per-booking commission or a flat monthly fee, depending on what suits your business best.

No. All platform charges are transparent and visible in your dashboard.

Cancellations and No-Shows

If a client cancels outside your custom cancellation window, you may be eligible for partial compensation.

You can cancel, but repeated short-notice cancellations may reduce your visibility on the platform.

If a client doesn’t show up, you can report it in the app. You may be compensated based on our no-show policy.

Branding, Reviews & Growth

Yes! Vishmo supports personal branding. You can list your name, logo, and specialty services.

Yes. Active and top-rated providers are promoted through ads, social media, and local campaigns.

Yes. Clients are encouraged to leave feedback, which helps boost your visibility and credibility.

Platform and Support

Yes. The provider app allows you to manage bookings, availability, payments, and messaging.

We offer in-app support, live chat, and email or phone help during business hours.

Yes! Earn rewards when you refer other professionals or clients who successfully use Vishmo.

Cancellation & No-Show Policies

Cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled appointment will result in a 50% charge of the service fee. Clients who do not show up or arrive more than: - 5 minutes late for express services (30 minutes or less), or - 10 minutes late for other appointments, will be charged 100% of the service fee. By booking a service, you agree to these terms.

Providers are expected to honor all accepted bookings. Repeated last-minute cancellations or failure to complete bookings may result in payment adjustments, account suspension, or termination from the platform. Vishmo reserves the right to withhold or adjust payments for incomplete or cancelled services.

Compensation for provider cancellations varies depending on the timing of the cancellation. If the client cancels outside the platform’s minimum notice period, providers may be eligible for partial payment. Vishmo will facilitate this through the platform.

If a client successfully disputes a charge (e.g., due to poor service, cancellation, or dissatisfaction), the chargeback and any associated fees will be deducted from the provider's earnings. Vishmo will make a best-effort attempt to contest the chargeback on your behalf.

Tools, Equipment & Product Sales

Yes. As a provider on Vishmo, you are fully responsible for bringing all tools, equipment, and professional-grade products required to perform your service safely and effectively. The platform does not supply or reimburse materials. Your equipment must be clean, safe, and meet all local health and safety standards. Failure to bring required items may result in cancellation without compensation.

Yes. Vishmo allows providers to list and sell approved retail products directly to clients through the platform. This is a great way to enhance your earnings and build long-term client relationships. All sales must comply with local regulations and platform guidelines, and Vishmo may take a small transaction fee.

Yes! You can set multiple service zones in your provider dashboard. Vishmo allows you to define different travel radiuses for each city or region where you’re available. Just make sure your licenses and permits are valid in all locations you serve.

Yes! You can perform services at hotels, bridal venues, corporate events, and private gatherings. Make sure the client provides a suitable setup space and that you have any permits required for performing services in those locations.

Yes. Providers can leave private feedback or ratings about clients after each completed service. This helps Vishmo maintain a respectful and safe community for everyone on the platform.
